Aviation Station offers a unique leasing opportunity in a one-of-a-kind space with deep historical roots and a creative vision for the future. Keeping the property’s meaningful past at the forefront, we are repurposing its existing improvements and creating new spaces on its unimproved acres to better facilitate the needs of modern commerce. We are currently working with the Glenn L. Martin Aviation Museum to purchase and display parts of a B-26 Martin Marauder aircraft and other historic airplane models once made in the building to bring the building’s aviation past to life.
Sports & Recreation
The bones of the existing facility provide unique characteristics that lend themselves to a variety of users. Blue Ocean is currently discussing the possibility of creating a large-scale, indoor sports complex that includes full-sized soccer, basketball, and football events.
Located at the intersection of MD-Route 43 and Eastern Boulevard, the property is minutes from I-95 and I-695 and just 15 miles from Baltimore City. It is located directly on an MTA bus route, and is immediately adjacent to the MARC commuter rail station, providing direct access to both Baltimore and Washington, DC.
Aviation Station expects to achieve as many as 7 retail pad sites, several big box and junior box spaces, and a wide array of smaller tenants, including shops, salons, and boutiques, within our 100,000 square feet of retail space. The building’s historic footprint affords interesting design and merchandising options for stores of all types and sizes.
Aviation Station will offer a complementary array of local, regional, and national hospitality purveyors in the fast/casual market space. Marry your menu and outstanding service with the historic, urban vibe of this unique property and watch your business ignite.
